About the other performers: Banjo wielding singer-songwriter Corinna Rose pushes the boundaries of the folk world. Unabashedly using crooked rhythms, odd time signatures and jazz chords, her new chamber-folk EP entitled 'The Wharf' showcases the interplay between classical strings, autoharp, and banjo, with a gentle nod to Nick Drake and Mississippi John Hurt. Rose is joined by long time friend, road-wife and bandmate Leah Dolgoy (Autoharp, Harp, Vocals). www.corinnarose.com

Eden Oliver is a song writer and multi-instrumentalist from Victoria, BC, Canada. She currently performs, records and tours nationally and internationally with her indie-prog-chamber-folk-roots group West My Friend while maintaining a busy schedule with other musical collaborations, teaching, and community organizing. Her work with West My Friend has garnered nominations for Vancouver Islands “Roots Album of the Year” and “Song of the Year” as well as a nomination in the Canadian Folk Music Award’s Oliver Schroer “Pushing the Boundaries” category. With “powerfully eclectic” vocals (Brad Edwards, Play in Victoria) and a song writing style deeply rooted in the west coast’s ramshackle collection of quirky folk, her musical narrative will keep your attention rapt.
